He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Paxton and Alma Bryson Paxton of Charlotte; his son Timothy Jerome Paxton Jr.; and his brother James Paxton. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Shell Paxton; his mother-in-law Mae Shell Detter; his pets, Hank and Dexter Paladin; his sisters, Jane, Dot and Betty of Greensboro, NC; his stepbrother Robert Paxton of Salem, VA; and his daughters, Sheree of Florida, Christina and Amanda of Georgia.
Memorials may be made to Boys Home an Episcopal School in Covington VA.
