Theresa Ann Mauser
June 1, 1960 – October 17, 2024
After a determined battle with stage 4 lung cancer, Theresa Ann Mauser, 64, of Newton, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at home on October 17, 2024.
She was born to the late Theodore Allen Kitchen Sr. and Shirley Ann Leatherwood Kitchen. And is survived by her loving husband, Teddy Biggerstaff of Newton, NC; her son, Corey E. Mauser and his wife, Jacqueline, along with three grandchildren in Georgia; and her daughter, Heather M. Jennings, and two grandchildren in Newton, NC.
She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Theodore Kitchen, Connie Garrett, Eric Hayes, and Alex Hayes.
Theresa was known for her remarkable dedication to work, rarely missing a day. Her Thanksgiving dinners became a beloved tradition, where family and friends gathered around her table.
She always stockpiled gifts, making sure no one ever went without. And even now, her love continues to show up in small ways, like the meals she left behind in the freezer—one last gesture of care for those she loved.
She very adamantly requested no funeral services. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
