She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hedrick and Annie Kanipe Hedrick; her husband Melvin Harris Barlow; her brothers, Doc Hedrick, James Hedrick, Thurman "Gigger" Hedrick and Bill Hedrick; and her granddaughter Casey Lamb.
She is survived by: her children, Brandon Barlow (Sarah) of Newton and Kathy McCray (Larry); her sister Becky Barlow; her grandchildren, Carolyn McCrary, Gary McCrary, Mandy Cassidy and Samuel Turner; and her great grandchildren, Austin Barlow, Brendan Barlow, Cheyenne McCray, Finley Cassidy and Abbigail Norris.
