He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Mackie (Bryon) of Hickory and Rita Hefner (Kevin) of Taylorsville; his stepdaughter Crystal Knott of Claremont; his grandchildren, Shea Hefner and Rachel Ratledge; and his stepgrandson Aaron Knott.
