She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Baine Fox and Mildred Sherrill Fox; her husband Dennis Kaye Moore; and her brothers, Jim Fox and Bill Fox.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Crouse of Maiden, Tammy Fish of Stony Point and Deborah Laney (Archie) of Lincolnton; her grandchildren, Justin Crouse and Shanna Crouse (David Hicks); her great grandchild Grayson W. Hicks; and her brother Baine Fox.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the First Baptist Church (50 E Main St, Maiden, NC 28650). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Maiden Building Fund, P. O. Box 338, Maiden NC 28650, Burke Mortuary in Maiden is serving the Moore family. Keep Sylvia's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
