She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Ward Sanford. She is survived by: her father James T. Sanford; her husband William Charles Arney, Jr.; her daughters, Elizabeth Arney (Danny Bollinger) of Hickory and Anne Arney Unrue (David) of Hendersonville, NC; her grandson William Hunter Unrue (Kendal) of Decatur, GA; her sister Mary Carolyn Abernathy (George) of Hendersonville, NC; and her siblings-in-law, Jonathon Arney (Laura) of Rochester, NY and Katherine Pultz (Dave) of Greensboro. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
