He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Wilson and Lola Bentley Wilson; and his siblings, Melvin "Woody" Wilson and Brenda Hollar. He is survived by: his wife Donna Davis Wilson; his sons, Christopher Scott Wilson (Wendy) of Statesville and Jason Wilson (Leslie) of Hickory; his brother Jim Wilson (Janet) of Conover; and his grandchildren, Mackenzie Wilson, Cooper Wilson, Clint Mayo (Jenna) and José Guerra Lazo.
