He is survived by: his wife Jackie Delores Godfrey (Hough); his son Brent Godfrey (Pam) of Hickory; his siblings, Joyce Lee Warters (Ronald) of Concord and Jim Samuel Godfrey (Pat) of Concord; his grandchildren, Jackson Dane Godfrey and Allison Caroline Godfrey; his brother-in-law Harvey Gouch; and his pet Earl.
