It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dean Church (Newton, North Carolina), who passed away on November 10, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Hendrix Church; his children, Julia Stewart and Scott Church (Valenia) of Hickory; his grandchildren, Wesley, Savanna and Madeline (Hickory); his siblings, Harold Church (Ruby) of Lenoir, Gail Rhoney (Eddie) of Hildebran and Brenda Childers (Terry) of Connelly Springs; his stepbrother Shawn Lail (Donna) of Lenoir; and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.
