He is survived by: his parent Margaret Horan Bumbarger; his children, Bruce Bumbarger (Gayla) of Hickory and Eleanor Coleman (Doug) of Hickory; his brother Thomas Vance Bumbarger of Newton; his sister-in-law Sara Ward Bumbarger of Hickory; and his grandsons, John Coleman of Hickory, William Coleman of Hickory, Robert "Bob" Bumbarger III of Hickory and Brock Bumbarger of Hickory.
