With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita Reynae Walton (Newton, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 29, 2025 at the age of 68. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jeanette Carson Walton and Cleveland Walton Sr.; her children, Kenya Walton (Terry Taz Tucker) and Thomas Arnold; her grandchildren, Tyheem Walton and Daquesha; her great grandchildren, A'kari Johnson and Ty'layah Walton; her siblings, Clifton Walton (Cynthia Tipps-Walton), Darren Walton, George Walton, Christoper Walton and Cleveland Walton Jr.; her sister-in-law Mary Walton; and her siblings, Evone Walton and Dorthy Walton. She was also cherished by her nieces & nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jenkins Funeral Home (4081 Startown Rd, Newton, NC 28658). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel (4081 Startown Rd, Newton, NC 28658).
