He was predeceased by: his parent Junor Beatrice Poole Allison; his stepfather Freeman Allison; and his brothers, Shuford Mayes Jr. and Wesley Freeman Allison. He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda Hart (John) of Clemmons, Dela Irvin (O'Neal) of Statesville, Myra Allison of Statesville, Cassia Smyre (James) of Statesville, John W. Mayes (Roberta) of West Virginia and Allen Stanley Mayes of Maryland; his close friend Shana Campbell; and also Brad Wynn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
