She is survived by: her husband Gene Thomas Lawhorne Sr.; her children, Tom Lawhorne, Jr. (Andrea) of Florida, Deborah Gilreath (Mark) of Hiddenite and Ruth Burroughs (David) of Claremont; her half-siblings, Monte Lewis, George Lewis, Joe Lewis of Virginia and Patrice Smith (Doug) of Vale; and her grandchildren, Justin Burroughs, Tyler Burroughs, Luke Lawhorne, Katie Gilreath, Katelyn Gilreath and Sarah Lawhorne.
