He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Caldwell; and his parents, L. Ray Caldwell and Lilliard Caldwell. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Kale (Mark) and Bruce Caldwell (Ann); his grandchildren, Logan Kale (Lauren), Taylor Kale (Cathy), William Kale, Julie and Olivia Caldwell; his great grandchildren, Lexi, Lily, Lincoln, Levi, Clayton and Knox Kale; and his sister Jo Hoyle.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Mt. Ruhama Baptist Church Building Fund.
