He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Edgar Bowman and Edith Louise Marlowe Bowman; and his brother-in-law Larry Yount. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" June Mann Bowman; his son Edward "Eddie" Franklin Bowman of Hickory; his sister Joyce Yount of Conover; and his grandsons, Matt Bowman and Kirk Bowman.
