She is survived by: her husband David Spurlock Sr.; her children, David Spurlock Jr. of Newton and Christina Barnes (Robert) of Newton; her siblings, Robert Lorenz (Samantha) of St. Cloud, FL, Donald Lorenz of Steinhatchee, FL., Dora Townsend of St. Cloud, FL and Brenda Lorenz-Gardner (Tom) of St. Cloud, FL.; and her grandchildren, Jaylen Barnes, Olivia Barnes, Lila Martin and Sydney Lominac.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Bennett Funeral Service (7878 NC-16, Newton, NC 28658). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
