She is survived by: her husband David N. Matthews; her son Cameron Matthews (Charity) of Conover; her sisters, Patricia Harris (Bill) of Newton and Doris McCaslin (Dottie) of Maiden; her sister-in-law Freida Matthews of Conover; her grandsons, Luke Buckner (Jessica) of Morganton and Aaron Buckner of Hudson; and her great grandchild Brooklynn Townsend. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
