He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Sidney James (Pinkie) and Inez H. James; and his wife Elizabeth Barnhardt James. He is survived by: his children, Marshall Lee James (Julie) of Colorado Springs, CO, David Yoder James (Renee) of Lake Wylie, SC, Robin Lang (Kevin) of Cary, NC and Norman Wyatt James (Libby) of Hickory, NC; and his grandchildren, Anthony, Andrew, Austin, Katie, Kendal, Hannah, Cameron and Sydney.
