She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Guy Scronce and Fannie Belle Scronce; her husband Frank Joseph Gutyar; her grandson Greg Spurling; and her siblings, Bain, Edwin, Warren Scronce, Mary Kate McCaslin, Stella Kirby, Mabel Walsh and Ruby Scronce.

She is survived by: her daughters, Marsha G. Spurling (Tom) and Frances G. Bolling (Jim) of Seneca, SC; her grandchildren, Scott Spurling (Dawn) of Belwood, Leslie S. Webb (Derek) of Belwood, Myra S. Juban (Matt) of Peingtake, Trent Bolling (Dori) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Chad Bolling (Holly) of Greenville, SC; and her granddaughter-in-law Dakota N. Spurling of Newton.
