He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hall and Betty Jenkins Hall; and his siblings, Shifley Hall, Odell Hall, Ed Hall, Julie Marlowe, Fannie Poovey and Grace Walls.

He is survived by: his wife Gladys Hedrick Hall; his sons, Delbert Thomas Hall of Lincolnton, NC and Jerry Hall (Melissa) of Newton, NC; his sisters, Beulah Hipp of Morganton, NC and Edith Shelton of Hickory, NC; and his grandchildren, Lori Hall Early (Brian), Delbert Hall, Jr., Terry Hall and Jonathan Hall. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
