She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stewart and Jessie Stewart. She is survived by: her husband Franklin McKnight of Newton; her children, Jeffery Stewart (Pamela) of Newton and Tamara Phillips (Thomas) of Conover; her stepdaughters, Bridget McKnight of Raleigh, Dawn Kee of Raleigh and Tanisha Wilson (Howard) of Conover; her grandchildren, Janecia Stewart, Demario Stewart, Julian Reid and Kaila Reid; and her stepgrandchildren, Kendall Fortner, Tony Kee, Lakaishia Swint, Senquajja Hardeman, Jasyra Simakan and Zyleah Wilson. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, and a slew of cousins, nieces, nephews.
