It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Moore (Newton, North Carolina), born in Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on March 16, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clem Burroughs and Beulah Burroughs Valleroy (McClain); and her sisters, Helen Joyce Burroughs and Dora Jane Finley. She is survived by: her husband Hershel Ray Moore; her children, David Guy Moore (Pat Britton) of Goodview, VA, Susan Palmer (Ken) of Terrell, NC and Brian Moore (Heidi) of Prescott, AZ; and her sister Susan Richardson (Dariel) of Rochester, Illinois. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Carolina Caring at 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658 (donations are also accepted online) or Alzheimer's Association.
