She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Buff and Lona Newton Buff; her daughter Loretta Truitt; her siblings, Ralph Buff, Wayne Buff, Estelle Brackett, Adele Hastings, Ruby Walker, Faye Swink, Muriel Lingerfelt and Betty Jean Buff; and her brother-in-law Bob Jones.
She is survived by: her daughters, Chassey Smith (Jackie) of Lincolnton and Sandy Sain (Tim) of Vale; her siblings, Gerald Buff (Debbie) of Hickory, Roy Lee Buff (Nina) of Casar and Mildred Lail of Casar; her grandchildren, Brantley Smith, Cayson Smith, Dakota Johnson (Chris) and Logan Sain; her great grandchildren, Alexis Sain, Cuyler Sain and Hayden Johnson; and her close friends, Danny Burgess, David Tollie, Janice Duncan (Barry), Jo Summerfield and Vaughn Pippen (Christy).
