With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Walker Hicks (Newton, North Carolina), who passed away on June 7, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Marshall Hicks; her son Steven Hicks; and her granddaughter Johna Howard. She is survived by: her children, Eric Hicks (Diana) and Marsha Collins (David); and her grandchildren, David Collins, Jr., Jessica Sherrill (Cameron) and Nicole Hopper (Cody). She is also survived by 8 great-grandsons; 1 great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
