With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Rose Beard McCaslin (Newton, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on April 13, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Murell Beard and Fern Hass Beard; her husband Richard McCaslin; and her grandson Matthew Gaither. She is survived by: her children, Tim McCaslin (Lori) of Hickory and Anita Gaither (Cole) of Charleston, SC; her siblings, Roger Beard (Mrytle) and Hilda Shrum (A. D.) of Lincolnton; and her grandchildren, Erica McCaslin, Lauren McCaslin (Chris), Zachary Gaither, Jordan Willis (Blake) and Ben Gaither.
