She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Alexander and Mattie Elizabeth Byrd Hendricks; her son Terry Bumgarner; her grandson Derrick Rainey; and her sister Eva Tuglisi.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Kelly (Wayne) of Maiden and Lisa Huffstetler (Delvin) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Chelsea McDowell of Maiden and Leiah McDowell of Raleigh; her great grandchildren, Kaiden Rainey, Amia Davis and Lydia Beverly; and her siblings, Pauline Drum, Dot Hendricks and James Hendricks.
