She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Carlo Brittain and Mary Alice Prescott Brittain; her husband John Franklin Hunsucker, Sr.; and her siblings, Betty Jeanne Brittain Hawn and Billy "Bill" Drew Brittain.
She is survived by: her children, John Franklin Hunsucker, Jr. (Ellen) of Denver, NC and Mary Ann Hunsucker Cooke (Chris) of Conover, NC; her sister Mabel Brittain Lawing of Conover, NC; her grandchildren, Eric Hunsucker, Laura Hunsucker, Blake Cooke (Whitney), Lindsey Cooke and Doug Thornburg (Susan); and her great grandchildren, Cohen Cooke, Alex Thornburg and Katie Thornburg. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
