With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Belle Tibbs of Newton, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on October 28, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father William Robert Tibbs; her brothers, Robert Roger Tibbs, Raymond Eugene Tibbs and Charles Arthur Tibbs; her siblings-in-law, J. D. Goforth and Shirley Keisler Tibbs; her great-nephew Chase Michael Hastings; and her great-niece Cassie Tibbs Dymora.

She is survived by: her sister Billie Sue Tibbs Goforth of Newton; her sister-in-law Ruby Taylor Tibbs of Newton; and also Fourteen.
