He is survived by: his wife Sheila Springs Brewer; his children, Tonya Sanders of Lindenwold, NJ, Tyrone Brewer (Debra) of Bridgewater, NJ, Porsha Buresh (Shawn) of Winston-Salem, NC and Michael Brewer of Elkridge, MD.; his siblings, Charles Upshaw (Lisa) of West Orange, NJ, Aubrey Upshaw of Allenwood, GA, Leslie Brown of Clayton, NC and Bernita Upshaw of Allenwood, GA.; his grandchildren, Anya Brewer, Jasmine Brewer, Tiffany Brewer, Sonya Brewer, Alexis Brewer, Evan Rector, Barrett Buresh and Sierra Winters; his stepmother Juanita Upshaw of Perth Amboy, NJ; his mother-in-law Zula Springs of Catawba, NC; his siblings-in-law, Jerri Brewer of Marana, AZ, Elizabeth Parker (Jason) of Hickory, NC, Vanessa McCullum (Aaron) of Catawba, NC and Jerome Springs of Catawba, NC; his aunts, Mary Love Mason and Linda James of Catawba, NC; his godchildren, Ittiely, Derrick Carson, Modesty, Craig Thompson, Hope, Ed Brown, Autumn Harrison, Tommy Garrett and Ashley Dunston; and his close friends, Thomas Fisher, Luther Hathcock and Pathmark. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
