She is survived by: her siblings, Ann Whisnant, Lois Abernathy, Inez Baird, Ruth Abernethy, Ralph Kanipe, Ellis Ray Kanipe and Junior Leroy Kanipe; her nephew Rusty Baird; her children, Gary Kanipe (Susan) of Newton and Becky Morehouse (Martin) of Bothell; her grandchildren, Sarah Kanipe of Newton, Tim Morehouse (Maggie) of Washington, Meredith Stephens (Michael) of Washington and James Morehouse of Washington; her nieces, Vicki Turbeville (Harry) of San Ramon, CA, Camilla Hewitt of Advance, NC, Kathy Sigmon (Les) of Conover, NC and Phyllis Whisnant of Cherryville, NC.; her great-nieces, Julie Bowman (Brent) and Ashley Potter (Paul); her great-nephew Andy Hewitt (Carol); and also, Jenny Hewitt, Ryan Bowman, Brady Bowman, Luke Potter, Landon Potter, Lawson Potter, Josh Hewitt, Savannah Potter and Drew Taylor Hewitt.
