It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Layne Dixon of Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Layne and Elsie Witherspoon Layne. She is survived by: her husband Thomas "Tom" A. Dixon; and her grandchildren, Liz Howell (Nick) and Jason Cloninger.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:45 PM at the First United Methodist Church-Newton (300 N Main Ave, Newton, NC 28658). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
