He was predeceased by: his brother Paul Strickland. He is survived by: his parents, Marcus Strickland and Betty Strickland of Conover; his sister Annette Rudisill; and his nephews, Colton Sprinkle (Brianna), Noah Rudisill, Wyatt Rudisill, Rynli Sprinkle, Jesse Sprinkle, Emmy Sprinkle and Beckett Sprinkle.
He requested that if anyone wanted to honor his memory that in lieu of flowers a memorial contribution be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or Children's Levine Hospital in Charlotte which were dear to his heart.
