She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Lester Caldwell and Mollie Pearl Goodson Caldwell; and her siblings, Vernon, Troy, Dwight, Eugene Caldwell, Novella Caldwell, Brinda Kay Caldwell, Cleo Beard and Eunice Waugh.

She is survived by: her husband Carlton Fletus Poston, Sr.; her children, Carlton Fletus Poston, Jr. (Pamela) of Maiden and Tonia Renee Wimberly (Bradley) of Newton; and her brother Wayne Caldwell of Claremont.
