It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mae Elois Channel of Newton, North Carolina, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George R. Anthony and Mae Senior Anthony; her husband Paul; her daughter Frances Napolitano; and her siblings, Harry Anthony, Esther Jones, Jean Myers, Margaret Nagle and June Lobring.
She is survived by: her son Coleman Channel (Karen); and her grandchildren, Seth Napolitano, Dawn LaPorte, Nathan Channel and Ashley Blackwell. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family requests donations take the form of contributions to Carmel Hills of Charlotte or Hospice & Palliative Care – Charlotte Region.
