She was predeceased by: her parent Tollie Allen; her husband Ralph Monroe Pitts; her son Larry Pitts; her son-in-law Richard Kale; and her sisters, Vivian Hager and Rachel Hunsucker.

She is survived by: her children, Ralph Allen Pitts (Lynn Pitts) and Patricia Kale; her daughter-in-law Debbie Wentz; and her brother-in-law Walter Hunsucker, Jr.. She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
