He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Gene Grant and Maggie Geneva Lee Grant; his siblings, Phyllis Grant, Linda Grant and Anthony; his sister-in-law Phyllis Grant; his nephew Brent Grant; and his brother Roger Grant (Mary Lou).
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Cope Grant; his son Rob Grant (Tammy) of Conover; his grandchildren, Kellie Frazier (Mickie), Levi Grant and Kerrie Boze; his great grandchildren, Ava, Teagan Eimer, MaKyla, Kallen Frazier and Gabriel Boze; and his sister Debbie Kennedy (Pete) of Newton.
