It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leo Joseph Emielita of Newton, North Carolina, born in Branford, Connecticut, who passed away on July 8, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Toefil Emielita and Sofia Dransvewski Emielita; his son Wayne Emielita; and his brothers, Rudolph Emilita, Theodore Emilita, Michael Emilita and Edward Emilita.
He is survived by: his wife Glenna Mae Eaton Emielita; his son Paul Emielita of Temeicula, CA; his grandchild Glendon Michael Lowery (Joy) of Lincolnton; and his great grandchildren, Alison Lowery and Conner Lowery.
