He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Brewer Lingle; his sons, Clinton Wayne Lingle of Newton and Stephen Paul Lingle (Lisa) of Wilkesboro; his siblings, Gene Lingle (Shirley) of Hickory, Charles Lingle (Sherry) of Hickory and Ella Mae Allen (Dean) of Hickory; his grandchildren, Hailey Lingle and Trevor Lingle; and his daughter Shonda LeeAnn Lingle.
