Larry Gene Turner Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2023, at the age of 79, Larry Gene Turner of Newton, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pinkney Turner and Annie Mae Sipe Turner; his brothers, Harold Turner, Fred Turner, Daniel Turner, Cecil Turner and Willard Turner; and his siblings-in-law, Albert Campbell, Sid Deloatch, Frank Craven, Gwyn Hall, Louise Turner, Addie Turner and Wanda Kay Turner.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Miller Turner; his daughters, Elisa Ann Everson (Randy) of Marion and Jeanna Michelle Gowan (Carson) of Marion; his siblings, Clyde Turner (Meeta), Jerry Turner, Jenny Turner Campbell of Maiden, Peggy Turner Hall of Hudson, Dorothy Turner Deloatch of Cincinnati, OH and Elizabeth Turner Craven; and his grandchildren, John Carson Gowan, Fate Turner Gowan, Alex Timothy Turner, Caleb Charles Turner, Annie Mae Everson, Mary Katherine Gowan, Dale Henry Everson (Hank), Logan Michael Turner and Numerous.
