Self of Newton, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on October 2, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dwight Self and Reathy Devinney Self; his wife Denelta Coley Self; and his siblings, Jerry, Charles Ray, Roy Self and Mavis Bumgarner.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Self (Teresa) of Newton, John Self (Joyce) of Newton, Larry Self (Amy) of Newton and Patty Self of Newton Eight; and his siblings, Homer Self of Claremont, Ken Self of King, NC, Diane Loftin and Joan Elmore of Conover. He is also survived by Eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
