He was predeceased by: his father James Ray Johnson; his nephew Ryder Guy; and his mother-in-law Rebecca "Becky" Hollar. He is survived by: his mother Julia "Geneva" Whisnant Johnson of Conover; his wife Carla Hollar Johnson; his children, Aleigha Johnson of Gamewell and Noah Johnson; and his siblings, Teresa "Raelynn" Hollifield (Ken) of Hickory and Tim Johnson (Teresa) of Lebanon, OH.
