It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Ray Benfield of Newton, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on April 11, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John Wesley Benfield; and his stepson Gregory R. Reynolds. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Miller Benfield; his daughters, Amy Wright (Jody) of Claremont and Kelly Summers (Cory) of Claremont; his stepchildren, Bobby Reynolds of Lincolnton, Larry Miller (Jennifer Miller) of Claremont and Angela Reynolds of Claremont; his brother Terry Benfield (Marquita) of Conover Fifteen; and his grandchild Thirteen. He is also survived by Thirteen Great-Grandchildren.
