It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Elizabeth Roberts of Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on September 8, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Lee and Grace Parker Smith; her husband James Roberts; and her siblings, Lester Smith Jr., Floyd Smith and Betty Abernethy.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Roberts (Heidi) and Gail Byrd; her sister Faye White; her grandchildren, Evans Byrd, Courtenay Thompson, Laura Byrd, Lydia Pinkley and Nina Pinkley; and her great grandchildren, Trace, Parker, Bear and Elle Thompson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
