It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karey Dawkins Warren of Newton, North Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on March 1, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William M. Dawkins and Jewel Prince Dawkins. She is survived by: her husband Dexter D. Warren; her siblings, William M. Dawkins (Elaine), Alan D. Dawkins (Amy), Benjamin I. Dawkins (Mandy) and Ann D. Lee; her siblings-in-law, Alex and Criss Ervin of Newton; her nieces and nephews, Garrett W. Dawkins, Josh Ervin (Jen), Gabe Ervin (Allyson), Quint Ervin (Melissa), Marian Carns and Jennifer Broome; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, William Carns, Delaney Carns, Warren Carns, Ada Ervin, Ollie Ervin, Vance Ervin, Gigi Ervin, Eli Ervin and Ivey Ervin.
