It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Wayne Leggins of Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leggins and Ida Richards Leggins; his wife Juanita Taylor Leggins; and his daughter Rhonda Smith. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Thad "TJ" Smith and Emily Smith (Diane Hatchum); and his son-in-law Lance Smith.
