He is survived by: his parent Emma Steindl Grindel; his brother Joseph J. Grindel, Jr.; his wife Loretta; his sisters, Helen Hall, Louise Peaco (Ray), Betty Theberge and Dolores Alexander; and also, Richard Grindel (Marylyn) and Robert Grindel (Judy).
