He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roy and Edith Sheets Kirk. He is survived by: his significant other Nancy Ayers; his children, Terry Ayers, Frankie Kirk and Selena McDonald; and his sister Kathy Whitener (Jim). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
