He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leggins and Ida Richards Leggins; his wife Juanita Taylor Leggins; and his daughter Rhonda Smith. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Thad "TJ" Smith and Emily Smith (Diane Hatchum); and his son-in-law Lance Smith.
