She is survived by: her children, Gene (Lenora) and Dean (Kristie); her grandchildren, Brian, Josh (Heather) and Emma Bumgarner (Noah); her great grandchildren, Ava, Ella Isenhour and Lilah Bumgarner; and her sisters, Kay Ray and Bonnie Sherrill. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the BURKE MORTUARY & CREMATORY-Newton-Conover Location (2516 N Main Ave, Newton, NC 28658). A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Catawba Memorial Park (3060 US-70, Hickory, NC 28602). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Burke Mortuary Chapel (2516 N Main Ave, Newton, NC 28658).
