He is survived by: his wife Shirley Shook Sherill; his children, Dustie Sherrill and Trudy Gadfield of Newton; his sister-in-law Thelma Sherrill; his granddaughter Tara Locklin Vaughan; and his great grandchildren, Jameson Vaughan, McKenzie Sherrill, Miles Sherrill, Wayne Reed and Harmony Wallace.
